Abstract Mindstate (Misfitz Of Dialogue)
Personaly my favorite 12" by Abstract Mindstate. Released in either 1997-98, but it doesn't say. This group is from Chi-town, both tracks on this are bomb but I like "Misfitz In This" much more. Anyway check it out, production by Andy C and Capitol D. Also check out other Abstract Mindstate 12" and CD's.

Ve Borne
First off I want to say I'm working on putting up the old links but I just don't have much time to do that, but If you really need one re-upped let me know.
-
This is the first 12" I think put out by this MC from Philly. It was released in 1996, he has another 12" from 97 called "Big Willie Style" Other then that I couldn't find much info on the net about him. Check it out bomb Philly rap, my favorite is the North Filthy Remix.

??????!!!????!?!!!!?!
Okay, so apparently some one reported some kind of abuse on file-upload.net on my part. So this means all my links have been deleted. I don't know who did this or why but all it means now is I gotta take more time putting up link for old posts instead of posting new shit. So thanks to some ungrateful person on the web, I have to waste my time on these old posts. well anyway, I'm gonna try to resolve this quickly so I can get back to the music.

Diversified Culture
This one here is by Diversified Culture. I think they are a group but you only hear one MC in this track. It was put out on Moola records in 1995. I'm posting it for the a-side track, Have You Ever Seen? which is really dope, the b-side however I'm going to leave out as it isn't as good as the a-side. Anyway enjoy this track if you haven't heard it.

Raw Elements
Sorry if you guys are getting tired of New Jersey rap but I really like this record. Put out on Tribal Child Records in NJ, this one is by a four person group called Raw Elements. I'm pretty sure this is their first record put out in 1997. They have another 12" release but once you listen to it you'll know why I didn't pick it up. This EP, however, is one of my favorites.

C-Sol and Nexus
Here's a dope Indie record outta Toronto, Canada. Released on IICMP Records in 1998. This 12" features two artist. The a side track is called "I Just Rhyme" and features only C Sol. The b side, my favorite, is called " No Trust" by C Sol and Nexus. I've seen another C Sol record out there before on the same label but I didn't think it was as good as this one. Any way check it out, dope Canadian rap.

Mad Shorties
What can I say, another killer 12" out of New Jersey on Echo International. This one was released in 1996 by a group called the Mad Shorties. Don't really have any information on the group. Both tracks on this one produced by S.A.M. Nasty for Hustla Records. Both tracks are worth a listen but "Coast to Coast" Definitely kills it.

D.O.I.
Another dope record from New Jersey. This one is by a group called D.O.I. All these tracks are bomb as hell. And since I've gotten a few requests for a full rip of this one I decided to hook it up. So enjoy this one.

Diffarent Kombonation
When I first got this record a while back I didn't think anything of it. I gave it one listen then shelved it in my crates. I got it out again today and gave it another listen and when I heard it for the second time I realized I must have not been listening the first time because this one is definitely dope. Diffarent Kombonation is made up of two MC's, Diffa Alo and Kombo MC. Some of you might know Kombo from some of his solo releases like "Don't Stop" I'll include this track in this post just because it is bomb. But anyway these guys come out of Washington DC, released in 1996. Both tracks are worth a listen.

The Troubleneck Brothers
Now I know a lot of you out there have heard plenty of stuff by The Troubleneck Brothers. They released a few 12" in the 90's as well as an LP. This 12" however I haven't seen around much. This track was pressed on another 12" with the track "Pure" on the other side. This one here is the test pressing of the well known Troubleneck song "Back To The Hip-Hop" It features a really dope remix of this track that can only be found on this test pressing, I'm pretty sure.

Rowdee Pak
For the second review today I picked this 12" put out by Rowdee Pak outta New Jersey on their own label I'm guessing. I couldn't find any info on the web. All I know is it was released in 1996 and you get exactly what you expect from a Indie record outta New Jersey... pure dope. Enjoy this one both tracks are sick.

Bloodshot
I figured most of you have heard this track from the 1995 12" by Black Eye who is the same group. That 12" had this track along with one other. This is the original release for this track and the group name is Bloodshot instead of Black Eye, but the song is the same. Anyway I wouldn't have posted this but I got some requests in the Cbox for it so enjoy.

The Militant Mind State
I know a lot of you are going to recognize some of the names on this one. This EP here was released in 1995 on Illadelph Records. Illadelph Records released a bunch of dope 12" through out the 90's but this has got to be my favorite. The vocals on this one are done by some familiar names from the Illadelph label, like Munk Wit Da Funk, Knowmad, and the rest of the Militant Mind State. On this one you get three tracks each just as good as the other. If I had to pick a favorite it might be "Bottom Line" Anyway check it out. You can't got wrong with the Militant Mind State.

Self Scientific
Today I thought I'd post up this 12" from Self Scientific. Released in 1998 I'm pretty sure this might have been their second release. The group consists of MC Chace Infinite and DJ Khalil. They have another 12" that's pretty good too, not sure what year. You can check this out and read more about them here. Crates Of AG. Anyway I posted this one up for the track "Sublevel Dominance" really sick check it out if you haven't heard it. It's also pretty easy and usually inexpensive to get a copy of this one so pick it up if you like it.

Facez Of Death (F.O.D.)
Yet another dope release on Echo International. This one is by a group called Facez Of Death outta New Jersey. I post this 12" for the b-side track, "Krazy Jerzy" a-side track is also good but the b-side has really grown on me in the time I've had this one. I have a couple more 12" by FOD but this is definitely my favorite. check it out.

Rick Da Bro
First I'd like to start off by saying that I know there's some of you out there that do drop by and leave a comment every once in a while but the bottom line is if there are 200 + people downloading this music I need to get more feedback if I'm going to continue to take my time to record these albums for you. I'd especially like to direct this towards the people I know that go to my school or have gotten the link from someone I know. I know a lot of people have been downloading these posts... you can see on the counter. The more feedback I get the more encouraged I will be to share more and better music with you. It also gives me a better idea of the tastes of the readers of this page so I can make better choices on what to post.
-
Now that I got that out of the way, lets get back to the music... What I'm going to do on this one is have anyone who wants a rip of this for the first few days it is posted then let me know in the comments. Just let me know who you are, maybe your favorite post on my blog... whatever, and leave your email and I will send you a full rip. After a couple days I might decide to post up the link.
I have a really dope record to talk about today. This one is by Rick Da Bro from Newark, New Jersey. This EP is titled "Unsigned EP" and features 7 of my favorite tracks. My personal favorites are "Emotions" and "Into The Fire"

Eddie Meeks And Thareeko
After a few requests for the song playing on my page I thought I'd review this EP by Eddie Meeks and Thareeko. This 7 track EP was released on Serious Entertainment. Most of the production on this EP was done by Eddie Meeks and Thareeko. All together this EP is alright but the two tracks that make it worth getting are "Larger Than Life" and "Up On It" You also have the remix of the track "Gun Clappin" that features Canadian MC Saukrates.
